It's a new week...Happy Monday!
It's been about 3 weeks since I planted my little flower seeds. I have had very bad luck growing the paseys. Only one has sprouted! I have the seeds chilling in the fridge for a week and then I will try them again (I read that they need to be chilled). One of 2 Plox has sprouted...so I am making another go at it. The crazy daisy's are growing very well. The Gizinia's and chrysanthemums are doing great. I have lots of little pots on my livingroom window sill. It is an intresting decor but it makes me happy! I am awaiting another seed order and then I can plant my snapdragons.
It has been VERY COLD lately. It feels like -20 C. today...BRrrrrrrrr!!!! Hard to believe that Spring is coming. Josiah's 12th Birthday is only 24 days away!!

You seem to know more about gardening than I do. I've just just made my first seed purchase and I've been trying to find someone to give me some tips. I'm a novice to gardening and the Internet, so please excuse me if my etiquette is off.

Good luck on planting your seeds! Are you going to start any indoors or are they going directly in the ground when it warms up? I do both. My favs for direct plantings are: morning glories, asters, zinnia's and nasteriums. I can't plant them until late May though...as it is too cold here, until then.
What seeds did you buy? I haven't got much experience with veggies. Flowers are my passion...
