Sunbeams. Easter. Anniversary.
Dear Husband took a few pictures today. This one is our favorite. What a beauty (she is)!
Today is a special day. It is Easter! AND it is our 18th Wedding Anniversary. Happy Anniversary!
Blues and whites and golds seen around these parts...
I think that God is the best artist and has the most wonderful colour palette ever!!
The 1st "serious" snow fall came upon us last evening. This morning the snow is sparkling with the Blue Sky equally as beautiful, behind it.
The gold and blue Christmas decorations are eye candy to me and I enjoy them both on our Christmas tree and scattered here and there decoration the corners of our home.
Cookies
I treated my self to a quiet walk downtown to G.T. Boutique (tee-hee) to shop for the kid's stocking stuffers when I spotted a little bag of coloured chocolate chips.
If you like shortbread or buttery cookies and chocolate too, then these cookies are for you. What a sweet buttery treat! Recipe for Double Chocolate Chip cookies found here.
It's been a long time since I pulled out the good camera and had some fun with it. *sigh* Made for a happy day...
Happy Thanksgiving!!
I am very thankful. Top 5 things that I am thankful for:
I always seem to feel inspired to create in the Fall season. There is so many things on my list to "do", but this morning I actually achived a sucessful photo shoot. Here is 1 of my favorite shots.

Picnik
I have been having fun playing around with some free photo editing (free)at a site called picnik. I like this feature called: collage. ~The pretty Cosmos are from our garden. They are so easy to grow: you just buy the seeds and plant them directly in the soil when it warms up. This is the 1st Summer that I have grown the white ones and I quite like them.
Sun Flowers have started to bloom
Shaun took some beautiful shots today of our sunflowers. See more pics here on our Art Blog.
We had a family day on Monday. Started the day out with a breckfast out, went to the beach for the day and took the kids to see our first ever 3D movie ~Ice Age 3.
The weather was sunshine, wind and cooler temps but we still enjoyed our day. I don't remember ever seeing the water such a tourquois colour as it was that day. Stunning!
Tirzah was the only one that was brave enough to swim in the waves. She had fun for a few minutes and then changed into warm and dry clothes. We all enjoyed a hike up and down the large sand dunes.
At the enterance of the beach, Shaun took a picure...notice the wild grape vines on the lower left of the picture. Beautiful!
