Gratitude Saturday
- I am thankful for the sun. It is melting the snow. Drip, drip, drip. Spring is coming!
- My favorite pottery mug. A few years ago, Shaun got me several pieces of pottery made by a local Potter (Bailey Brown). I love savoring a coffee in it. Everything always taste better served in this mug.
- I am thankful that I can go to the grocery store in casual clothes with no make up on and my husband (and even my kid's!) think that I am beautiful.

Well, for me it's grubby Saturday...it afternoon and I just got out of my pja's. I was up early making pancakes, and stuff But I LOVE being in my pja's.
I love having a Saturdaywith no set plans - I Just got dressed and it's the afternoon!! I was up earlier and made a big breakfast for my gang and we just all "hung out" together...all 11 of us. We generally have a Full House on the weekends!! I don't look particulariy "pretty" BUT I don't think they care as long as I keep the food coming!

Well...I was up early, but only because I had to work @ 7:30...
HOWEVER...my "Saturdays" are sometimes Wednesdays, or Fridays... either way anywhere I go, whether fully DECKED OUT, or with raggidy hair and no makeup, Mike always thinks I'm beautiful. He would (and has never) said anything about the way I look (negatively)..I feel so blessed to not have the pressure...True Love.

Oh no - I did it again...I'm very computer challenged. Sorry I thought the early comment was deleted - But - obviously I was wrong. I will provide you and other readers a lot of entertainment with all of my computer errors.

Hey Holly! spent the past saturday down at Winterfest - had soup and beaver tails, chocolate covered marshmallows from the Acrobat, then headed to market square for roasted marshmallows on an open fire. Kept looking for more soup (it was a soup tasting contest), however, all the soup was gone, so we decided to head to Paulos instead and had Tortuffo(italian icecram, not sure how to spell it). Needless to say, we ate our way through downtown!
Hi Holly
That last one about "No make-up" got me remembering. 8 years ago we moved from a very relaxed coastal own to the vibey, fastest, most materialistic city in Africa.
That was one thing I noticed, ALL the ladies had a FULL face of make-up where ever they went! I was not used to this! After 8 years I think I am somewhere in the middle now!!!!!
I love it when Cliff comes home from school and I am in the kitchen- making dinner-no make up-jeans and a t-shirt-and its the crazy before dinner chaos and he gives me a hug and tells me I look gorgeous.
Wow! It is so great that we have such awesome husbands! Thank you God!!!
