MY EMAIL ANGEL
Years ago, the 'unexpected' happened to our family. On a family vacation I collapsed and ended up in surgery. Although I didn't know it at the time, I was about 6 weeks pregnant. It was an Ectopic (Tubal) Pregnancy and my fallopian tube ruptured. Because I lost so much blood, I was in hospital for 2 weeks and then 4 more weeks resting at home-mostly in my bed. My mom flew down from Mexico to spend 3 weeks with us and help look after the kid's. Although, I don't remember much of that visit, I know that Shaun sure does and it was a life line to him. The kids were only 2 and 4 years old at the time. Our Church family, at that time was very good to us. Huge bouquet of flowers and a meals for several weeks delivered to us that my friend Pam organized. For all of this, we are so thankful. But, what I really want to tell you about my very special friend who I will call my "email angel".

Very soon after we arrived home from my surgery, I got an email from this EA(email angle)! It said something like "I am so sorry to hear that you lost your little baby. I am praying for you as you grieve." Nearly each day, for the next year, I got an emails from EA. Sometimes, it was a scripture. Some times it was just "Hi, I am thinking of you and praying for you today". Sometimes she told me stories about the dear little one that she had lost, many years before. I cried with her as she shared with me, knowing that she was crying with me as I walked though some similar pains. Those emails were a life-line for me and I will always treasure my dear friend. I have thanked her before but I am not sure that she knows what a treasure her friendship has been to me. She is a quiet woman. She is humble. She is creative. She is loving. She is giving. She is my friend.
