True Friend
Do you have a friend that loves you enough to speak truth in your life even when it feels like a gentle kick in the pants?! hee-hee ;o) I hope that you do. As much as we like to have a sympathetic ear, sometimes we do need a wake up call. Well...I do, anyway! As I am on this journey (life), I am blessed to have a friend who can lovingly say..."Holly, let it go. Give it to God. He can take care of the situation better than you can." That friend gives me hope too, reminding me that things are going to get better. Much better. The best is yet to come. So, thanks God for friends that lovingly speak the truth and help us to keep us going down the straight and narrow path.

I have a verse highlighted in my Bible. James 5:16, Confess you sins to each other...
It's nice to hear encouragement from our friends but it can be difficult to receive correction.
It is important though to have at least one person who can speak directly into our lives. Someone that we can be accountable too. Ouch!!!

I have told one of my very close friends that she has my permission to speak truth into my life, even when it is correction. My husband also has my permission. Because I know that these 2 love me, it makes it easier for me to recieve.
