More changes...
I have been gearing up to make some healthy changes...that will result in a body that weighs less and is more fit! So...I am half way through Dr. Phil's book: The Ultimate Weight Solution (the seven keys to weight loss freedom). I had been thinking that I really needed to loose 10-15 pounds that I have gained over the past year and a half. I felt kinda bummed out after I read the chart re. what your ideal weight should be, going by your bone type and your height. It said I need to loose 35 pounds...yikes! That sounds so much more of a challenge than just 10 or 15!!! I am not sure that loosing 35 pounds is my goal, but I am making some changes and hope that I will get a healthier me. You can all pray for me. I am not really excited about this...but I know it is time. You can pray for my family...this will affect them too (like when I have to cut down on my chocolate consumption...)!!! ;o)

Isn't weight such an irritating issue???
My kudos to you as you venture out...one of my favourite things when I'm trying to trim down is lemon water...wierd I know...but fresh lemons sqeezed onto some ice and then cold water added just gives me a quench.
I also have some great "snacks" that are available and not to much worry...
I'm with ya girl!

Holly,
Thanks for being so transparent on a subject that a lot of us struggle with.
Personally, I never keep a scale in my house so I never know if I need to lose a few. I just go by how my clothes fit.
Right now,I can't wait for the warm weather so I can head outside for some exercise (cause my clothes aren't fitting the way they used to)
Maybe instead of doing tea we should switch to a walk instead??
Karen :)
I was doing really good with my weight, and then with Lindsay transitioning into the home, I went back to my emotional eating.
Cindy Chilvers was here for a week visiting and all I did was cook really yummy fattening food, and we drank fattening frappucino's ....... BAD very BAD.
Now I'm back to where you are at. Take it slow, little changes help. You can do it, we'll support you.
Cheryl
