CHESS

Our Children attend different Schools but today they will be spending the day together...at a Chess Tournament! They both did well enough at their 2 Chess Clubs, that they are able to go. Pretty exciting for them and their parents are proud. Actually, neither Shaun or I play chess, so it is rather funny!

The sun is shinning today but it is chilly ( 0 degrees Celsius). I walked to the store and bought soft foods for my husband. He got a wisdom tooth extracted last evening. He is at work today though and doing well. Now it is time for me to enjoy my morning coffee...

I know how to play chess - as in move the pieces but I stink at the game. I am so busy being defensive that I neglect to be offensive...NOT GOOD!!

Way to go Fillmores - hurray!!

Our oldest two are into playing chess as well. They learned that from their father as I am a checker girl.

Keegan participated in a chess tournament last week. Maybe we need to arrange a tournament for our kids??

My kids love chess ... it seems to go hand-in-hand with homeschooling! We even had a homeschooling chess club for awhile as well.

How did Josiah and Tirzeh do in the tournament?
