Something Lovely...
I love this Stargazer Oriental Lily. I had about 3 of these at my garden at our previous house. The squirrels dug up one bulb and then buried it again. So, I had this beautiful lily come up in a surprising spot. The blooms don't last more than a few weeks but they are so striking, I think that they are well worth planting!
On another note...today is report card day. I had two excited kids this morning. They are hoping to get some kind of financial reward for all their hard work! They were telling each other what they would be spending all their money on...funny thing is, that they don't even know for certain if they will getting any!
Well, Mondays are my cleaning day. I am on my 4th load of laundry and the house looks pretty good. It has been a very quiet Monday...nice and peaceful...
