Rain
I haven't been this happy to have rain in a long time. Why am I happy, you ask?

I am happy for the rain as it is washing away all our HUGE snowbanks! The back of my garden has some exposed earth and I noticed the "remains" of last years perennial flower. Last Spring our friend Cyndi, invited us over to her garden and shared some of her perennials with us. One of my favorites was this tall, bluish-purple flower. I don't have any pictures of it myself but was able to find some beautiful pictures
on Flickr. (See bottom of pictures for credit to the photographer.)

I am looking forward to enjoying my own blooms...thanks to Cyndi!! If anyone knows what kind of flowers these are, please let me know!

(credit for both pics goes to: samdiablo666's found HERE.)

I loved driving today, and seeing almost all of the curbs....I also love that there is pavement so I can walk in my barefeet and flats without slipping, or freezing!

The flower looks alot like the scotland thisle. Which is my most fav. flower. I used to pick the canadain version for my mom when I was a little girl. I too can't wait for all my beautiful flowers given to me from a wonder friend. (Jill Williams)

I agree...does look lots like a Thistle...but there are not any thorns or prickles on it. I hope this will multiply...then I can share it! ;o)
