Each morning I walk our daughter to her bus stop. When I walk back home I take myself on a tour of the garden. It is an "inspection" really, as my eyes hunt for any new signs of Spring bulbs that have broken through the surface of soil. I think my first blooms will be some little Snow Crocuses. I have planted a purple, white and yellow mix.

I love Crocuses...2 years ago I planted some around my tree, but when our yard man came and turned all of the soil last year....he pulled them out....see, even when I try to be a gardener...things don't work out!
This year, I think I will put all my money into realistic silk flowers and plant them all around.....think anyone would notice?
One of the first signs of spring is evident in my yard... the snow has melted and all the doggy droppings are now very visable!! LOL
The first signs of Spring in my yard is the same as Shari's only amongst the droppings is a beautiful pond which will eventually drain into my basement.
Perhaps if I owned ducks I would appraciate it more.So until that day arrives I am enjoying Spring through your eyes.
I cleaned up a pail full of water from by basement floor on Tuesday. There's a plus side to it being really cold here today!
ooooooohhh..I love spring. I'm hoping to start a garden this year...
I took my girls on a "hunt for signs of spring" walk today. It's coming! It's coming! Can't wait to see crocuses again.
