Kid's say the funniest things
My friends Amy and Jen asked their little ones some questions. Tirzah is a little older than their kiddos but I decieded to ask her anyway. It was still a hoot! Here are her answers:
Tirzah's answers (age 11)
Why did God make mothers?
So that he could keep the human thingie going. To keep the world going around.
How did God make mothers?
The same way that He made other people.
What ingredients are mothers made of?
Bones and skin. I don't know. I learned about the body but I don't know that much.
Why did God give you your mother and not some other mom?
Because God knew that she would be the perfect one for me.
What kind of little girl was your mom?
Skinny and beautiful. Kind of like me actually.
What did mom need to know about dad before she married him?
That He was a Christian and that he loved her, not fake love.
Why did your mom marry your dad?
She loved him and he loved her and God wanted them to marry I guess. It was the right thing to do. They were made for each other.
Who's the boss at your house?
Daddy. Mommy says that he is the King of the castle. And he earns the money.
What's the difference between moms and dads?
Daddy makes money. Mommy spends money.
What does your mom do in her spare time?
Clean the house. Rake leaves. Scoop dog poop. I don't know!
What would it take to make your mom perfect?
If she bought me a horse. That would definitely make her perfect!
If you could change one thing about your Mom, what would it be?
Hmmmm......I don't know. She is all ready basically perfect. I like her the way she is.

Great Answers...Maybe Jianna will think I am "basically perfect" when she is 11!
"Daddy makes the money, Mommy spends it". Sounds like our house, though part of me spending money is paying those boring old monthly bills.
AWWWW! Tirzah is so sweet!!
Wonderful! hahaha, sweet and funny!
Awwweee .... what a sweetie! Isn't it great to know that you're "basically perfect?"
So hilarious! I love a child's mind.
Although, I do want to encourage you to take up sewing or gardening, if your hobbies include raking leaves and scooping dog poop! LOL!
That is adorable.
I am almost tempted to ask my 20,23,29 year olds these questions.
Can you imagine the answeres.
May not be all that sweet.
