Glimpses of my world

You're feeling:
Sick. I have some bug that the kids have shared with me...a sore throat!

To your left: an empty cup (used to have Orange juice in it)

On your mind: I need to make a lemon pie (made the crust part, yesterday)

Last meal included: Pasta and beef

You sometimes find it hard to: believe in things that seem impossible.

The weather: sunny and cold, below zero by a few degrees

Something you have a collection of: little dogs that my dad carved for me over a span of 10 years.

A smell that cheers you up: Oh...I love smells (good ones, that is)! Lets see....I love the smell of: my husband, coffee, babies, the ocean, the forest and fresh baked bread.

A smell that can ruin your mood: dog poo!!

How long since you last shaved? I am not sure that you really want to know. So, I am not going to tell. Lets just say that I feel nice and cozy!!!

The current state of your hair: Too long. I am getting it cut this coming weekend...yeah!!

The largest item on your desk/workspace (not computer): hmmm...I guess it would be the speakers.

Which section do you head for first in a bookstore? gardening

Something you're craving: olives (black or green)

How many times have you been hospitalised this year? not once

Favorite place for a quiet moment: the Ocean

You've always secretly thought you'd be a good: waitress

Something that freaks you out a little: Our son is 13!!!!!

Something you've eaten too much of lately: Easter eggs. The hard boiled kind...the kids made so many! They are all eaten up now though.

You have never: been drunk

You never want to: live in an igloo! hee-hee

What a great post thanks for sharing a little glimpse of your world today.
Praying that you feel better and that 13 doesn't freak you out too much.

Nice to see into Holly's life.
A waitress eh? I never would have thought.
I agree, the ocean is such a wonderful place. Last summer, when we were in Nova Scotia and PEI I felt the draw of the salt water. A great place to go for a quiet time with God.

AHHHHH the ocean!!!! SIGH!!!!!

I was a terrible waitress, I was nice and meant well, but I was so easily distracted....I found another job quickly!

I don't want to live in an igloo either!
I can't agree on olives though....BLECKY!!!!!
