Beach Day

We had a family day on Monday. Started the day out with a breckfast out, went to the beach for the day and took the kids to see our first ever 3D movie ~Ice Age 3.

The weather was sunshine, wind and cooler temps but we still enjoyed our day. I don't remember ever seeing the water such a tourquois colour as it was that day. Stunning!

Tirzah was the only one that was brave enough to swim in the waves. She had fun for a few minutes and then changed into warm and dry clothes. We all enjoyed a hike up and down the large sand dunes.

At the enterance of the beach, Shaun took a picure...notice the wild grape vines on the lower left of the picture. Beautiful!

Yay!!! I love the beach and the water does look so pretty,..even though it was a little too cool for swimming. One thing that I have started to do here is "listen" to the water. You know,...the rumbles, roars and gurgles of the waves. Did I mention that I love the beach???

We had 'beach day' yesterday with the Maracles & Saulniers. It was so nice. Albeit a tad windy!!! We didn't leave until 8pm and Isaiah fell asleep in the car--and didn't awake until 10AM!!! We need to do that more often!! lol.

The last time I was at the beach was about 10 years ago. I decide one day in March to drive out and take a quiet stroll. It was beautiful I was the only one on the whole beach.
