Summer Time

We have been able to enjoy some nice weather and have been hanging out at the poolside. We are a 20 minute walk away from a large outdoor pool. At $2. a person, it is a great, inexpensive way to spend the afternoon.

I continue Gardening for hire and am enjoying it. It gets pretty hot and a few hours seems LONG...but still...it's the job for me and I am thankful for it.

In the next 2 weeks we are busy with a VBS and the kid's are going to Circle Square Ranch for a week. Neither of them have been away from home for more than a few days. So this will be a whole new experience. They will be so busy with all sorts of fun activities I know they will not miss home one bit. BUT, I will miss them! I will have 3 days of vacation time with my hunny though, here at home...so somehow I think I will mannage! : ) After the week is over and we pick them up and see them take part in a Rodeo, I know my heart will be almost bursting with excitment to see them and to hear about how much fun they have had!! ~Circle Square Ranch is a very special place to me. I gave my heart to Jesus there when I was about 11 years old. I met my husband there. I got engaged there (well at the Ranch in Sussex) as well!!!

I am not working today. So I get to be home and: clean the house, do laundry, and cut the grass. (yawn!)

Happy Summer. Let me know what YOU have been up too, so far?!!

We have been building our home addition so we will have another bed room for our boys. We've also been getting all the final paper work ready so we can get them home from Ghana asap.

I also pet sit a lot in the summer - lots of cute dogs staying with us as well as their owners in & out.

Last weekend we went camping in Virginia with a group of friends. So much fun!

It has been a very tiring summer so far, overall, but we are so thankful we get to be adopt our sons. We look forward to next summer when we'll be a somewhat "seasoned" family of five.
