1st Snow Fall...
Grammies Home-made Chocolates (the best Christmas goodies EVER!)
175 g. pkg semi-sweet chocolate chips
175 g pkg. butterscotch chips
3/4 cup walnuts (Husband is allergic to nuts, so we skip this at our house)
1 cup Rice Krispies (cereal)
1, 1/4 cup Raions
7-8 semi sweet chocolate squares
2 Tbsp. butter
1. Combine both types of chips in a small saucepan over a medium heat and stir until melted. Remove from heat and add nuts and Krispies and raisins. Mix well. Cool slightly. Butter up your hands and form the mixture into shapes (and shape or size will do, I do a flat bottomed mound). Refrigerate 1 hour.
2. Melt Chocolate squares with butter until well blended. Did Rice Kristie molds into the chocolate and put on a plate. Refrigerate until firm.
