Meal Plan for the week
I have been meal planning for years now but was Inspired by this Blog to post it to my Blog each week and share some recipes that I am using.

Monday - Cilantro & Lime Chicken with tortillas and peas

Tuesday - Shepard's Pie with green salad

Wednesday - Calazone's with raw veggies and dip

Thursday - Chicken and veggies in the Crockpot

Friday - Pancakes (Yes, pancakes! We all love having them for supper.)

Saturday - Hoppin' Johnnie and left over pork with corn and salsa on the side

Sunday - Spaghetti and Salad

I have arranged the meals to fall on these nights so the kid's like a meal at least 1 out of 2 nights in a row! But, I am flexible to change up the order depending on time allowances for cooking or my mood.

I don't plan breakfast at our house. Each of us fend for ourselves! Son usually has those little packets of Hot Oatmeal. Daughter usually has a non breckfast type food like a cheese melt or a piece of fruit. Husband has yogurt and a muffin (or something along those lines) and I have whatever (English muffin, egg, or yogurt) but hardly ever cereal. (I have TMJ and most cereals hurt my jaw. I used to wear a special night guard that helped me out with TMJ but this past Fall my Dog got it and decieded it eat it! We don't have "benifit" with husbands job, so I have yet to replace that $350. little thing. It's one of those "eventually" purchases...)!

Through the week the kids and husband all pack lunches. I usually eat left overs of some kind.

So there you have it. Any plans for what you are eating next week?

I plan my meals a week at a time too. We also do pancakes, usually with fruit in them like strawberries. Tonight is chicken & rice.

Hey there Holly - we had pancakes for supper tonight :)

Just wanted to share about the mouth guard. I too was prescribed a mouth guard from my dentist - I am a terrible grinder. Anyway, when I had ground through my $200.00 mouth guard, someone suggested that I just go to Sportmart and get an athletic one for $3.oo and follow the instructions. And that's what I have been doing ever since (about 7 years now). The only thing is that it takes a couple of days to "wear in" a new one whereas my dentist prescribed one felt immediately comfortable. But I think the $197.00 savings in worth it.

Just thought I'd share.

Thanks Ali for the advice. I will try that for sure!!! I got spoiled with my little device as it was so tiny and just clicked on to my top 2 front teeth to keep my teeth from touching at the back of my mouth. I absolutely loved it and didn't even have a cap-nap with out it. :(
