Christmas is coming...
Had a small party for Shaun's 37th Birthday. Couldn't invite many as our house is so small...still managed to have 6 families (12 adults, 8 kid's) squished in!
We are having Christmas in North Carolina this year. I have the pass-ports ready and the dog's vet papers too. Should be an adventure. We bought a tiny portable DVD player so the kid's can watch movies for some of the 17 hour drive.
No snow yet...looks like we will not be having a WHITE Christmas. I am looking forward to going to Josiah's school tomorrow to join the school, singing some Christmas carols. Then later that evening back to the school with the whole family to see Josiah and his class preform a Christmas Play.
The kid's did very well on their report cards. However, Josiah's teacher says that he is smarter than his marks. I never thought I would do this but we are rewarding him for each B+ or higher, that he gets next term. He is just so content with an "ok" mark...so this gives him some incentive to use allllll his potential! Tirzah loves seeing A's on her report card and that alone makes it worth it for her. However...she is very pleased to hear that she will also be benifiting from this financial incentive!
I have been doing more art work. Shaun and I are working together on a few "projects" and we both are loving this new kind of partnership! Today I did some quick sketches of a chair, tree, leaves and a glove.
Tirzah is home from School today, sick with a bad cough. She is sleeping, having an afternoon nap. She should be back to school tomorrow.
MERRY CHRISTMAS!
