New Years Eve...

We are back from Chrsitmas in North Carolina. Had a nice (short) visit with Aunt Patty, Uncle John and little Mark. It turned out that Patty was dog sitting 2 dogs...so with our one dog and hers there was 5 dogs in a smallish house!! On the drive there Josiah got ill. Then he shared with his Dad, Uncle John and Granny! Now everyone is at their own homes resting and trying to get over this nasty "bug"!

One of Tirzah's favourite things was to visit Maggie (a neighbor's hourse). She brought her apples and carrots. Tirzah waited so patiently until Maggie came to the fence and ate from her hand.

Josiah was in bed most of the visit but he was well enough to go to the hanger and see the airplanes that Uncle John fixes. Shaun and I went as well, but Tirzah opted to stay home with Granny and Grampa.

It was a treat to see Patty's home. They are working on an addition on one side of the house. That will give them another bedroom a play room and a large master suit bathroom. When that is finished, they are hoping to adopt a baby!

Tomorrow is my Dad's 63rd Birthday!! Happy Birthday Grampa Lloyd! If we are well enough to celebrate together, I am making him a Black Forest Cake...yummy.

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!
