The Happy Gardener

I think I should consider renaming my Blog -to the Happy Gardener!

Over the past 2 days I have gardened on 3 different Properties. Weeding, planting flowers, shrubs and planting more than 12 trees! Now that is a work out!! Who knew that digging holes could be so much work?! Other than the bugs, I have to say I am enjoying this work  immensely. Yes, I am tired. I am also very happy, content and making money!  It's a blessing that this doesn't interfer with the kids lives as I am home before them. Although, some mornings I leave early (7:00) so Daddy and the kids make do with out me. So far, so good!

How awesome is this??? You get to do what you love - get exercise, might lose weight, get to smell the roses (LOL), and make money to boot!
Promotion comes from God and it always blesses us and pulls on our strengths and passions.

Congrats! Look forward to seeing some pics of the fruit of your labor.

Thanks Cheryl. I am one Happy Holly!
You know it would be neat to take some before and after pics of some of the gardens!

That's so great Holly!
I leave the house @ 6:30am--which I love b/c Mike gets to deal with the morning rush!!
So glad you are enjoying it!

My boss thanks me repeatedly that I am "helping" her. Meanwhile, I am thanking her because I am loving it (almost all of it...planting trees, ISN'T a highlight) and am so appreciative!

I have to say that Shaun and the kids are not used to me being so tired by the time the evening comes around! I think I may need an earlier bed time...
